Issue: Screen unresponsive/won't turn on
Solution
Turn the device Off & On -- Near where the power plugs into the Smartboard (above it on some versions, others are below), there will be a power switch. Flip this off, wait ten seconds, then power it back on.
Note -- you do not need to power off your device every night using this method. Putting it to sleep works fine!
Issue: No Touch on Device
Solution
Start by turning the device off & on again (instructions above). Next, unplug & plug in the USB cable on your dock (the computer should make a ba-doop noise when it's unplugged/plugged in!) If that still doesn't work, make note of which port the USB is plugged into on the board, then unplug the USB on the Smart Panel (you should once again hear the ba-doop noise from your laptop when doing this), then plug it back into the same port. (The USB ports are specific - if you're unsure which port it is, give us a call!)
Issue: Smart Panel not Duplicating the correct screen
Solution
First -- restart your laptop and make sure it is correctly connected to the Dock. Next, reach out to a member of IT so that we can remote into your PC and set up your display correctly!
