Navigate to the Google Play Store and type in Cisco Jabber, then hit the green Install button
Accept the User License Agreement
Scroll through the pages of all the cool things Cisco Jabber can do and hit "Get Started"
There will be 4-5 access agreements, you will need to allow these
Login using your altoona.k12.wi.us email
Next, you'll login using your username and password that you use to log into a computer (NOT your email address in this one)
This is the login you'll use to get into Jabber after initial installation if you do not do the biometric login in a later step.
Verify the Certificate - you might have to do this a few times through the process, just keep hitting "Continue"
We do recommend allowing access to your phone's location while using the app, but ultimately this is your choice
If your phone supports biometric logins, you will be prompted as to whether or not you want to set that up. If not - you will log into the app using the username/password you use to log in to a computer
Your main screen in Jabber will be your Contact page - to add a contact, hit the blue + in the bottom right hand corner
Here you can add contacts, create groups, and add favorites
To make a call, press the "Calls" button at the bottom of the screen
Recent and Missed calls will be listed here
Press the blue button with 10 dots to view the keypad to dial
To sign out of Jabber, click your picture in the top left corner of the screen
Then hit "Sign Out" at the bottom of the screen - we recommend doing this at the end of your shift!
You can also change your Status from this spot by hitting the "Available" status below your name
Then select the status you'd like to use. Once selected, if it does not take you back to the Contacts screen, hit the "<" in the top left corner of the screen
