No one in the call can see me!
First, join or create a call
Click the three dots, then Settings
Next go to Video along the left-hand side
Under Camera, make sure the correct camera is selected. If it is not, you can click the drop down and select the camera.
For this example, I had actually had the camera turned off. You can see this next to the Camera drop down (Yellow Circle)
If you choose the correct camera, a preview will appear next to the drop down, instead of this message. (Pink Circle)
If it does say the Camera is Off, you can fix this by returning to the main call screen and clicking the red circle with the camera and a line through it.
No one in the call can hear me!
First, join or create a call
Click the three dots, then Settings
Next go to Audio along the left-hand side
Under Microphone, make sure the correct microphone is selected. If it is not, you can click the drop down and select the microphone you want to use
An easy way to test if this is the correct microphone is to start talking. The three dots in the blue circle next to the drop-down will respond to your voice. (Yellow Circle)
If the correct microphone is chosen, check the other settings in this area
If Microphone is Off, go back to the main call screen and click the red circle with the microphone and a line through it to unmute
If you see the check next to Push to Talk has been turned on, you can either disable it by clicking on the blue check slider next to the setting
OR
If you do want to use Push to Talk, press and hold down the Spacebar key when you want to talk.
NOTE:: The blue dot next to the Microphone section will still respond whether Push to Talk is on or not, so you can still check to make sure whether you have the correct microphone selected with or without this feature enabled.
